DAVID “DQ” QUINONES – CO-FOUNDER/A&R/PRODUCER
Songwriter, producer, vocal producer, vocal coach

David “DQ” Quiñones is as a humble as he is successful – a strikingly uncommon union. His warmth radiates. When encountering him for the first time, it feels like you’ve known him forever.  Beneath his enveloping nature lies a world-class hitmaker who has written songs for, and collaborated with, living legends such as: Beyonce, brandy, Demi Lovato, Enrique Iglesias, Jason Derulo, Jlo, L’il Wayne, Nicki Minaj, and the Pussycat Dolls but he won’t be the first to tell you that.

DQ’s love for music is innate and he began his journey at the conservatory of Shenandoah university and the acclaimed Berklee College of Music where he focused on music education and classical, followed by the production and engineering, respectively.
Being a singer himself. His truest love lies in fellow singers whether he’s producing in the studio, or vocal coaching for America’s Got Talent, coaxing out their best is intimately linked to the quality of his musical prowess, and casual-cool charm.

DQ accredits his successes with aligning himself with other storytellers and creators who are similarly collaboratively minded. Through these friendships and alliances DQ formed a multi-faceted songwriting, publishing and music entertainment collective respectfully known as “the writing camp” with his long-time friends and mentors Evan “Kidd” Bogart and Erika Nuri-Taylor.

He has an all-welcoming strategy for success which is “hits before splits” – maintaining that “10% of something is better than 100% of nothing.” it’s that attitude. Coupled with his undeniable chart-topping talent, that has earned him a seat at tables with his including Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, Ricky Reed, Shea Taylor, Julian Bunetta, Ryan Tedder and redone.

Now residing in Nashville, DQ ‘s passion lies in wanting to help mentor and develop the next generation of artists and hitmakers. He aims to further establish the foundation of pop and urban markets in Nashville, by helping to forge a bridge between the best parts of music city’s storytellers and LA’s top 40 music songwriting process.

Another of DQ ‘s visions is to create a record label that “serves those who served our country.” he aims to create a full-service record-label which will foster bonds between established songwriters and aspiring songwriters – who also happen to be America’s veterans. With a 10-year plan to be majority run by veterans thru “hands on education.”

DQ stands by the belief that the magic lies in the collaboration, not the separation of mine vs. Yours. He holds dear the belief that “the only ego in the room, should be the song” and to always keep learning and growing alongside those you work with. “Don’t let the song your writing today be the last great song you ever get the chance to write, because of your ego.”
